FETC provides an alternative resource for the law enforcement officer who has an individual who does not meet Baker Act criteria yet is in need of mental health interventions. An alternative to costly, time-consuming and many times inappropriate treatment options such as hospital emergency rooms, crisis units and jails.

FETC’s goal is to improve the quality of life for the individual by providing an individual with treatment prior to their condition deteriorating and allowing them to remain with family and friends in their community.
